Discourses on reform at universities often focus on structural issues and neglect the university as a social place where people experience and help shape change. The focus is primarily on the what, rather than on the actual practice of change. This creates an area of tension: change is demanded, but not reflected from the perspective of the university members who manage it on a daily basis. The article shows how shaping the future at universities is addressed from the perspectives of its players and how new forms of multi-perspective cooperation play a decisive role in this.
