When it comes to teaching skills for modern university teaching, there is much more at stake than simply updating the personal repertoire of methods used by university lecturers. Developing teaching skills is an integrative professionalization task that brings together technical, didactic, technological, and organizational dimensions under conditions of permanent transformation. Social challenges such as digitalization, AI technologies, sustainability, and social inequality also have an impact on the requirements of university teachers.
