Partnership cooperation in university teaching: analysis of opportunities and challenges

In a university project to reinforce the [project name] profile, 20 additionally qualified practice teachers worked together with the same number of lecturers from different departments at a university of teacher education in lectures. This article uses interview data to examine the benefits and challenges of this collaboration. The benefits include the creation of authenticity and topicality of the practical reference as well as the promotion of multi-perspectivity and discourse in the lectures. Challenges cited include the greater emphasis placed on practical content by students and the difficult balance between theory and practice.
