This paper presents a concept for a continuing education course in higher education didactics for physicians and health scientists that systematically integrates the student perspective by having students participate in the courses and bring in their views on teaching, their experiences during their studies, and their ideas of successful learning. In the courses, the student perspective adds to the professional experiences and views of the participating lecturers and is of particular relevance for clinical teaching.

Through a discursive exchange featuring significant student participation, these courses aim to enhance participating lecturers’ didactic skills and thereby improve curriculum development and overall teaching quality.
