The impact of MOOCs and iMooX.at from the perspective of their creators

iMooX.at is being developed as a national platform for universities within the “iMooX - The MOOC platform as a service for all Austrian universities” project (2020-2023). This paper presents the results and impacts to date. For example, 70 MOOCs have already been offered, which already exceeds the goal of 33 MOOCs established in the project contract description. In problem-centered interviews with five course creators, the effects of MOOCs and iMooX.at as a platform were also collected. Course creators (n=17) significantly confirmed that iMooX.at contributes to the dissemination of open educational resources (OER). The survey also shows positive effects for different groups.
