In the academic year 2015/2016, a corporate curriculum for the teacher training degree programme - secondary school teacher accreditation - was launched in southeastern Austria. Over two years of intensive development by over 300 participants at eight universities and teacher training colleges, this new curriculum was built on the basis of recent legal regulations, which were intended to foster such cooperation between educational institutions. This paper, written by two individuals who participated in all of the main project groups of this pilot project, describes the essential features of the organization and content, examines the effect of education policy, and offers some brief reflections on the main operational decisions and the implementation process.
