Videos generally involve consumption without interaction. To change this, a web application was developed that adds different methods of communication and interaction to a video. This should prevent viewers from becoming tired or annoyed. The lecturer could use these interactve features to determine whether attendees are able to understand the content of the video. For instance, the web application developed here makes it possible to ask multiple-choice questions at pre-defined times. Furthermore, the application offers many forms of analysis, such as a detailed attention profile. An initial evaluation has already shown that participation in the interactive features is quite high.
