Student participation in the development of degree programmes

Student participation at universities is not only central at the course level, but also for quality assurance and development at the degree-programme level. Based on findings from higher education research on "student voice", this paper emphasises the need to involve students systematically and at an early stage in the further development processes of degree programmes. A data-driven procedure developed for this purpose and available as an open educational resource (OER) is presented methodically and with recommendations for action, followed by a discussion of its sustainable implementation in higher education development processes.
