Social entrepreneurship education in teacher education – A university course design and the results of a formative evaluation

The vision of achieving sustainable social development implies a strong focus on sustainability education and social entrepreneurship. Therefore, universities should expand the range of learning opportunities they offer in this area. This seems especially promising in teacher education, as teachers can foster sustainable, social entrepreneurial thinking among young generations. This paper presents a university course that seeks to enable and encourage teacher trainees to act as multipliers for social entrepreneurship.
