About the issue:

Simulation games are becoming increasingly popular at universities. However, their use and the scientific reflection on them have so far been quite different, depending on discipline and place of use. The present special issue starts here and offers on the one hand the possibility to better relate the so far isolated scientific discussions to each other or to distinguish them from each other. On the other hand, the issue contains reflections of users on their own teaching and learning contexts. The spectrum of topics covered ranges from overviews of the literature to discussions of various types of competence acquisition and curricula as well as forms of examination to specific simulation games in project management and management training. Innovative formats as well as the development of digital business games are also presented and discussed.

In addition to the online version, the issue will also be available in bookshops as a print publication. For more information, visit https://www.zfhe.at/index.php/zfhe/print.
