This article examines the effectiveness and impact of higher education teaching development programs aimed at strengthening digital and international teaching competence within the NIDIT project. Using a pre-post mixed-methods design, both quantitative effects on competence growth and qualitative changes in teaching attitudes and philosophies are analyzed. Results show that both short-term workshops and long-term coaching formats contribute to competence develop-ment and can initiate sustainable changes in teaching practice.
