In an increasingly unpredictable and complex world, the development of personal competencies is becoming ever more important. In addition to specialised knowledge, university college educators and students need ambiguity tolerance and resilience in order to operate successfully in dynamic contexts. This article examines the characteristics of the two personality traits of university college educators and the correlations between the two constructs. The findings are intended to provide a basis for developing university college measures to promote a flexible, solution-orientated and resilient attitude.
