While the pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation in academic teaching, there is still room for improvement in organisational processes such as study planning. Digital Study Assistants (DSA) aim to address this innovation gap. This paper presents the current and future developments of the DSA at the University of Bamberg, which provides students with a centralised, flexible, comprehensive tool for individual, autonomous study planning using heterogeneous data sources. The initial evaluation results (  show positive student feedback and illustrate the potential of such a system in the context of organisational challenges at a university.
