Using design thinking methodology, a two-year curriculum development project at FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland explored ways of supporting individual learning processes. Focussing on the Bachelor programme at FHNW School of Social Work, the project was being conducted in collaboration with partners from FHNW School of Engineering and Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW. The co-creative project design made it possible to collect and bundle students’ and lecturers’ existing experiences and expertise concerning individual learning processes and then combine these into a corresponding concept. The result is a set of proposals for implementing the findings in educational formats at the FHNW.
