Systematic integration of future skills into curricula
Main Article Content
In future programme design, higher education institutions face the challenge of teaching future skills and integrating them into their curricula in order to empower graduates as actors in a complex and dynamic world. This paper discusses realisation potentials, obstacles and strategies in the development of future-oriented competence profiles, up to the construction of corresponding module catalogues. The bachelor’s degree programme “Sustainable Economy and Management” at the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde (HNEE) is used to demonstrate how these future skills can be systematically anchored to react to changing social needs and expectations.
