In future programme design, higher education institutions face the challenge of teaching future skills and integrating them into their curricula in order to empower graduates as actors in a complex and dynamic world. This paper discusses realisation potentials, obstacles and strategies in the development of future-oriented competence profiles, up to the construction of corresponding module catalogues.
