Professionalisation as a programme: On the attempt to fill a void in academic didactics through the recursive application of design principles

As an interim result, this paper describes the planning of a didactic design for the promotion of individual competence development of lecturers in scientific further education. Using the example of the development of competences for transfer-promoting teaching, a design experiment is used to demonstrate how this approach can be implemented and established as an accepted support service under the continuing education conditions prevailing at universities.
